Content Kings: The Changing Landscape of Video Consumption

Internet speeds and device  technology have evolved to a point where they can now sustain the mass  distribution of all forms of content, and the once fragmented landscape of  consumer devices is quickly coalescing into a new standard for media  consumption – one that consists of a near seamless toolset comprised of the  smartphone, tablet, PC/laptop and television.  Mass-market adoption of  online video content and over-the-top streaming services continue to see  increased traction, despite continued initiatives from traditional television  providers to defend their lucrative position in the distribution of video  content.  However, once these new delivery or display technologies become  ubiquitous, it will indeed be the content which proves to have the most value.
